The Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Preserve is an outstanding world-famous monument of Russian culture. For two centuries Tsarskoye Selo was developed as a country residence of Russian emperors. More than 100 architectural monuments, from magnificent palaces to pavilions and bridges are located on the territory of three parks (about 600 hectares). The perl of the Catherine Palace is the unique Amber room, which is now reopened for the tourists.
