Pavlovsk museum-reserve is one the most beautiful suburbs of St Petersburg. The complex consists of an outstanding Palace and Park ensemble of the late XVIII — early XIX centuries, the summer residence of Emperor Paul I and his family. The area of the park is 600 hectares and makes it one of the largest Europe landscape parks.

Pavlovsk Palace has a large and magnificent collection of art, which includes series of Russian portraits, picturesque and graphic views of Pavlovsk, but mainly consists of works brought from travels to Europe of the owners of Pavlovsk complex in 1781-1782.
